Quality Assurance Manager (Philippines)

Acting as the manager and mentor for test teams across multiple projects, use your deep understanding of development and test best practices combined with leadership skills to promote approaches which ensure quality across our teams, products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, improve, and maintain Quality Assurance standards, policies and procedures to
    ensure the teams are working as efficiently and effectively, as well as meet high quality
    standards
  • Collaborate with production to allocate resources, balance workloads, have backfills
    ready and approve time-off requests
  • Report, update and sync with leads to address concerns, call out blockers, have
    actionable plans or suggested solutions, and maintain communication
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding of new QA Testers, including conducting interviews,
    employee evaluations, and other HR related coordination
  • Provide training and mentoring opportunities to other QA members for skill and
    performance development.
  • Ensure and checking the team’s well-being by scheduling one-on-one sessions and
    team QA syncs
  • Ensure that the QA team is aligned with production goals and that deliverables are
    submitted on or ahead of schedule.
  • Oversee QA testers equipments, update equipment trackers and request for additional
    devices for testing
  • Create and maintain documentations for test plans, and update existing documentations
    as necessary.
  • Work closely with developers and production to see proper planning and execution of
    KPI.
  • Handle client meetings as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience of proven QA leadership experience with strong QA foundation
  • Experience in Live Operations and games-as-a-service; from start to finish working
    alongside development teams
  • Strong leadership and organizations skills
  • Experience in JIRA or other bug tracking software and test case management
  • Excellent English communication skills both verbally and written
