Game Director

Tic Toc Games is seeking a Game Director with outstanding communications skills and a proven track record of shipping high quality free-to-play mobile games to cast game vision, create wireframes, write easy to understand user stories, and drive game development at all stages from conception through live ops.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the vision holder for the game, driving the game experience for the team.
  • Create clear and efficient wireframes and feature designs that can be converted into User Stories effortlessly.
  • Direct game design while successfully partnering with the producer to deliver and maintain an epic gaming experience.
  • Interface with internal or external stakeholders, the development team and management keeping everyone in the loop on the creative.
  • Ensure every design choice made benefits the Target Audience, Core Gameplay and Monetization efforts.
  • Drive ideation, high concepts and game decks for new title pitches.
  • Work within and refine the development process.
  • Establish and maintain a creative environment, resolving conflicts with teammates, and motivate the team with your excitement for the game!

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about Free-to-Play games.
  • A minimum of 2 years directing video game development.
  • Shipped multiple high quality products as a game director or game designer.
  • Outstanding communications and relationship-building skills
  • Recognized ability to guide and inspire development teams
  • Able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with all development disciplines: programming, art, design, sound, and production.
  • Exhibited ability to coach and mentor employees at all levels of an organization
  • You let the best idea win for your game.
  • Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative to make the game better.
  • Excited to learn new software and game development processes.

Producer, Mobile Games

Job description

TicToc Games is seeking a Game Producer with outstanding communication and people management skills who can organize, write easy to understand user stories and subtasks, and has a proven track record of shipping high quality mobile games!

Responsibilities

  • Run and facilitate the standard meetings within the SCRUM framework. Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective and Sprint Backlog Refinement
  • Facilitate team members when their production is blocked.
  • Estimate resource requirements and budget.
  • Maintain project budget for internal and outsourced resources.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Work directly with external publishers to communicate project status.
  • Coordinate resource needs with other teams to creatively meet the needs of a project.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about Free-to-Play games.
  • A minimum of 3 years as a Game Producer or Associate Producer in video game development.
  • Shipped multiple high quality products as a Game Producer or Associate Producer.
  • Outstanding communications and relationship-building skills
  • Recognized ability to guide and inspire development teams
  • Able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with all development disciplines: programming, art, design and sound.
