Five years ago, a team of heroes blasted into space to defend the solar system and the adventure has been unforgettable ever since!
Released worldwide on July 29, 2021, B.ARK combines fast-paced shoot-’em-up action with Saturday morning cartoon charm. Developed by Tic Toc Games for Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam), the game invites players to pilot a squad of four-legged heroes on a mission to stop the cybernetic fish armada known as The Dark Tide from taking over the galaxy.
As we celebrate B.ARK‘s 5th Anniversary, we’d like to thank every player who has joined the fight, shared the adventure with friends, and supported the game over the years. Your enthusiasm has helped make B.ARK‘s journey truly special.

📺 LET’S PLAY: The B.ARK Crew Went Live!
To celebrate five amazing years of B.ARK, the Tic Toc Games team hosted a special anniversary livestream on YouTube, bringing the community together to mark this exciting milestone.
The stream featured fun gameplay, behind-the-scenes stories, memorable moments from the game’s development, and heartfelt reflections from the team who helped bring B.ARK to life.
👾 GAME NIGHT: Work Hard, Play Harder!
With everyone busy creating awesome games, we took some time to unwind with a Meccha Chameleon Virtual Game Night, bringing together our PH and US teams for an afternoon of friendly competition, laughs, and team bonding.
If you haven’t played Meccha Chameleon, we highly suggest it. Ranking second in Highest Revenue for the month of June 2026, this is certainly a great indie game to try out.
With large lobby sizes it works perfectly for a company wide activity that left us all talking about it for weeks.

🤼 PGDX: Tic Toc Games Manila Visits the Philippine Game Dev Expo 2026
For three exciting days, from July 24-26, 2026, our Tic Toc Games Manila team joined the local gaming community at the Philippine GameDev Expo (PGDX) 2026.
From exploring creative exhibitor booths and discovering upcoming games to listening to inspiring talks from industry professionals, every corner of the expo offered something new to learn. It was a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet fellow developers, and celebrate the incredible talent driving the Philippine game industry forward.
We left PGDX with fresh ideas, new connections, and even more excitement for what’s ahead. A big thank you to everyone who made the event such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Charles Hankins
This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Charles Hankins, one of our Lead Programmers at Tic Toc Games! With a passion for solving complex problems and building well-architected systems, Charles brings both technical expertise and a collaborative spirit to every project, from Rift of the Necrodancer to B.ARK, and most recently, Nex Pets: Puppies.
Charles’ journey into game development began at an early age. Encouraged by his parents to pursue a career he genuinely enjoyed, he discovered that programming perfectly combined his love of gaming with the rewarding challenge of problem-solving. That passion has since grown into a career dedicated to creating great games alongside an incredible team.
While he enjoys the satisfaction of tracking down a difficult bug, Charles says his favorite part of game development is working with people across different disciplines. He believes that the conversations, compromises, and constant iteration between teams are what truly bring games to life, making collaboration the heart and soul of the development process.
Outside of work, Charles enjoys playing soccer, watching anime and cartoons, and diving into sci-fi and fantasy novels. This year, he’s been reading The Lord of the Rings alongside the Shelved By Genre podcast and highly recommends it to anyone who enjoys thoughtful literary analysis.
At home, Charles shares life with his partner, Kit, and their two beloved cats, Edric and Emira, whom they’re proud to co-parent.
We’re grateful to have Charles on the team and appreciate the passion, creativity, and teamwork he brings to Tic Toc Games every day!
